20/3/05: Changed the title.

Here it is: my art major for this term

"Inspired by the recent south-Asia tsunami disaster, my aim will be to integrate human expression and emotion into the environment in order to personify the destructive force of nature."

I wanted to create a truly surreal, dream-like and somewhat terrifying atmosphere. Dark, brooding storm clouds and cold greens contrasted against the warmth, life and grandeur of the city were used to create a sense of urgency and distress.

Then there's the monstrosity inside the wave.

My aim was to use shock and awe in order to draw attention to the piece, then invoke deeper thought by including the biblical quote.

Comments and crits appreciated :)

This really is an amazing piece .. i cant beleive you did those center buildings in 3d stuidio ... awesome awesome work. The bible verse is a bit too korny for my liking, but thats just me. I just noticed the shadow on your main building is off (yes i am a picky guy), but yeh all in all this is a kick ass piece, ditto to Ubah ... my new desktop just landed.

To imagine the impossible does not make it possible. Yet the possible will never be realised if it is not first imagined.
